Hey guys! My name is Colie Karnis and I am a small business owner, mother, rancher, and barrel racer. I am extremely passionate about my family and faith, and have a strong and determined mindset when it comes to running a business.
I grew up loving horses and barrel racing has always been a huge part of my life. My boyfriend and I currently run a 300 head of cattle beef ranch in Sandstone, MN while operating a Bucking Bull business on the side. which is based around rodeo events all summer. Our 5yr old daughter, Cheyenne is also a huge part of running both the ranch and the bucking bull business. She loves to help feed hay and do other daily chores with us. She even has a few bucking bulls of her own AND they even let her pet them on occasion! I own two barrel horses and compete in barrel racing competitions during the summer as a side hobby.
Running my own business has always been a dream of mine. I began making small steps back in 2017 where I would customize jewelry items for customers. This lead me to grow with my brand, create my own logo and eventually started adding to my inventory. I created a facebook page along with instagram and slowly started to grow my following.
Having a website for my business was always something I wanted but seemed like a huge step. My first selling platform was Etsy where I made my first 350 sales and was a safe place for me to makes sales online without making a commitment. Now in November, 2022 I am finally launching my first ever website with over 75 product skus. I cannot express the gratitude I have for all my loyal customers and following.
My goal is to be a leading modern Western boutique in the midwest and eventually grow my brand nationwide. With that, my dream would be to open a store front, starting in MN and branching into the warmer states in the next 5 years.
